8K a year Avalon Elementary is seeking to hire a bus driver.
This is a 20 hour per week position with year-round salary.
Avalon is a charter school located in Apache Junction, Arizona and has a student population of 315 students.
We are a growing school in the East Valley and are looking to add a new dynamic member to our growing team of teachers and support staff.
We look forward to meeting all interested candidates.
This position is open until filled.
Responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of the children, staff, and volunteers during bus transportation to and from the school and on field trips.
Duties:
Transports children to and from school.
Picks up and drops children along scheduled routes at the same time every day.
Enforces rules regarding conduct.
Monitors student behavior and stops any horseplay immediately.
Works effectively and patiently with students, parents, school officials, and the public.
Requirement:
High School Diploma or GED Ability to obtain CDL and Student Transportation Endorsement.
The school is willing to train the bus driver for the position.
Possess a valid DPS Finger Print Clearance Card Must pass a regular physical exam and drug screening.
Salary is based on experience Job Type:
